She has traveled to over 80 countries and is focused on improving travel and local businesses in emerging regions through predictive analytics.
She is a former founder of and recently founded Health Enovation. She serves as an advisory board member to startup companies with focuses on social impact, healthcare, and travel. She is a Pipeline Angel Investor who evaluates, invests, leads due diligence on behalf of other investors, and advises companies on startup business design and execution in health tech, travel tech, and female founded businesses. IVP is a "Startup Nursery" that focuses on identifying concept technologies currently in development at leading US Universities and Labs and creates the right ecosystem for those technologies to develop into successful startups. Mr. Mainord leads IVP efforts in Dayton and over sees operations in Columbus. Mr. Mainord graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University and in 2006 received his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Dayton School of Law. Shortly after graduation he joined Avetec, a Springfield, Ohio federal research firm, and worked as Director of Legal Affairs and Director of Business Development. While at Avetec he led a variety of projects that included high performance computing research activity, fiber optic network construction, turbine engine modeling and simulation, and coal-to-liquids technology. He also oversaw and reviewed all contractual and legal matters. In 2013 Mr. Mainord led a corporate merger between Avetec and Beavercreek-based intelligence training firm ATIC. Upon successful completion of this merger Mr. Mainord transitioned to Vice-President of Strategic Development for ATIC where he oversaw the Springfield operations and strategic development opportunities. He later continued in this role for Wright State Research Institute.
